China is objectively better in almost every regard and by almost any metric. All other first world nations are better than the US in every metric. The United States only leads the rest of the world in number of incarcerated people.

It’s an authoritarian cesspit run by corporations and fueled by the destruction of the environment and repression of smaller nations. There are dozens of countries that are better in any metric than the US, and China is the least of them. Even the UK does better than the US on every metric, including personal freedoms and right to privacy, and they’ve been run by a conservative government for decades.
