I wish they would just give the answer in the headline instead of burying it in the article. I want to know who recommends it without having to follow the link, but no!
Wait until you find out What’s playing second base.
I don’t know.
It’s clearly the doctor.
But WHO recommends it? Who is it?
That’s a very sensible recommendation, especially since the evidence of the benefits regarding helping prevent diseases like diabetes, heart attack and stroke that follow from obesity is overwhelming.
The WHO hasn’t been RFK’ed, has it? I can’t keep the different organizations straight anymore. But also it’s not recommending beef tallow so I guess that’s a good sign.
Immediate edit from TFA:
the U.N. agency
However, the guidelines also state that “medication alone cannot solve the global obesity burden.” Genetics and environmental factors, such as rising stress levels or increased exposure to processed foods, likely contribute as well.
I’ve been eyeing the nova classification system for UPFs and I think I’m going to try to avoid Nova 4 foods, but then things like aspartame are Nova 4 and that doesn’t seem like a truly unhealthy food at safe levels. It’s tough to know what’s bad for you and what isn’t.
Nova 4? Can you link a list of that if you get a chance? Never heard of that before.
Looks like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nova_classification
Thanks!!! Super interesting!!!
