Donald Trumpās tiredness, recent MRI and hand bruise suggest he may be taking medication to treat Alzheimerās disease, according to a ācuriousā California Democrat.
Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, D-Calif., tweeted that Trump is showing signs heās taking the Alzheimerās disease drug Leqembi.
āThe Alzheimerās drug Leqembi:- Is administered through an infusion (for example, through the hand)- Can cause swelling, bleeding, or fluid leakage in the brain, requiring regular MRIs- Can cause tiredness,ā Kamlager-Dove tweeted along with a picture of Trumpās hand bruise. āCurious.ā

From what I remember it wasnāt even proven this drug works. There were some data suggesting it might have some positive effects and since there is no known treatment for Alzheimerās it was approved to āgive patients a chanceā.
I work with the Alzheimerās drugs somewhat frequently, and there are ~15 patients I know of on Leqembi specifically. Itās not meant to reverse or stop anything, but rather slow progression ā which for Alzheimerās can be a miracle. Youāre not going to get on the med or even be evaluated for Alzheimerās unless youāre showing some deficits though, and you absolutely need evidence of plaque build-up.
Yes but I though even evidence that itās slowing anything down was at best very weak?
Also, is there any medicine that makes the patients look more awake/cheerful? It looks like Trump is sleepy and irritated almost all the time but then he suddenly becomes very active and his mood improves like during the Mamdani meeting.
Thatās the power of true love my friend.
