The Department of Justice instructed prison auditors across the country to simply stop assessing whether facilities are violating laws designed to shield LGBT+ prisoners from sexual abuse

TheĀ U.S. Department of Justice will ā€œimmediatelyā€ stop enforcingĀ a swathe of federal regulations protecting trans and intersex prisoners from rape and sexual assault, according to leaked documents.

In a memoĀ obtained by the non-profit news outletĀ Prism, DoJ official Tammie M. Gregg told prison auditors across the nation to ā€œimmediately pauseā€ all ā€œcompliance determinationsā€ for key safety rules concerning LGBTQI+ inmates, and advise prisons to ā€œdisregardā€ them.

Those rules include requiring trans and intersex prisoners to be allowed separate showers, banning body searches purely for the purpose of finding out what genitals they have, and requiring prison staff to consider their safety when assigning them to male or female wings.

I don’t agree with that strategy either, but she didn’t carry enough votes to have made the difference anyway…

According to the electoral college, every state either voted 100% for trump or harris. So no one voted for Jil Stein. And if you’re in a red state, NO ONE VOTED FOR HARRIS EITHER, and vice versa. Stop purposely being stupid of this fact.

Blame the non-voters for supporting this not the voters that didn’t vote for this.

I’ll blame both. Tossing away a vote on a guaranteed loser candidate is the exact same as stepping aside and allowing fascism free rein.

People vote 3rd party to be able to smugly claim they voted while pretending to not be part of what caused the issue.

I’ll say it clearly so it’s easier understood:

WHERE YOU ASSUMED YOU WERE BEING ASKED TO VOTE DEMOCRAT- YOU WERE BEING ASKED TO VOTE AGAINST FASCISM.

I seriously don’t know how this was so difficult that over 4 million people couldn’t figure it out

Voting for a candidate that can’t win is worse than not voting. Third-parties actively harmed the process and used resources that could have been spent preventing this bullshit.

We live in a 2-party system. If you aren’t happy with the Dems, make that displeasure known in the primaries, then vote against the fascists in the general election no matter what. It’s not that fucking complicated.

Fucking hilarious! Hey, real quick, what’s West been up to since November?

Remember when we tried to tell you that he and all the rest of the party dividers would disappear post-election?

Yeah. Maybe you’ll listen next time. That dude didn’t give a shit. He’s paid to split the vote and that’s what he does.
