This took me a minute. I’d been primed from other headlines mentioning Brown University and it took longer than I’d like to admit to notice the racial interpretation 🤦‍♂️

I haven’t been on my phone or looking at the news all day so this was my first exposure to the shooting. Brown University never even came across my mind and I thought it was either a person with the name “Brown” or they were just going full racist.

I was like “yeah, that sounds like a fox headline”.

Writing a good headline is an art. Those artists have all been let go.
