    I still think they should have called it “Audi Team Sauber” or with a title sponsor “Revolut Audi Team Sauber”. Erasing the Sauber name feels wrong.

      Technically that was BMW-Sauber which is often considered a distinct entity by Sauber itself. If you don’t cound the singular BMW-Sauber race win, they were entirely winless.

        Do you chalk it up to the lack of parity over all those years? Crazy. They had some great drivers.

          They always had recruitment issues. Very hard to get talent to move from England to the (motorsport) desert with high living costs.

    I assumed the Audi purchase was similar to BMW’s purchase (i.e. more than Alfa Romeo but not a full buyout), didn’t realise that this is actually the end for Sauber!
