“Pain = gain” would probably be more accurate.
But that’s what the phrase is saying. If there isn’t pain, there isn’t gain. So by having pain, you can have gain.
Formal logic says you’re right. I was just thinking of making it an inclusive slogan (yeah, I’m overthinking this) 😂
