[the] drugs do not come from Eli Lilly, nor do any of the drugs on the entirely unregulated underground market. No one is saying exactly where they do come from, but it’s commonly assumed that unnamed suppliers are copying Eli Lilly’s drug in China.

I’ve read about people getting black market powders for certain GLP-1 agonists for some years now. They problems with the unregulated versions begin with unreliable concentrations causing serious complications, to outright being the wrong drugs. They were generally delivered as concentrated powders you needed to prepare yourself.

So I’d be pretty weary about trying any non licensed versions of any drugs let alone those you need to self inject.

Retatrutide is readily available from peptide sellers. Buyer beware, however, because some grey market peptide sellers don’t have quality products. I stick to the top tier peptide sellers, and haven’t had an issue.

The problem is assessing quality for an injected drug requires a bunch of expertise that most buyers do not have. I definitely do not.

I’d check reddit to get a sense of the sellers people have used and the experiences with their products, but in general I haven’t had an issue with the peptides I’ve bought from Peptide Sciences, which is one of the more popular (but more expensive) sellers. The most common issue is contamination from lipopolysaccharides (LPS), which arises from poor lab procedures and lack of cleanliness. My very first peptide experience from an inexpensive seller triggered an inflammatory response, so I discontinued use and tossed the remainder and bought new product from a different seller.
