    If Eisenhower were alive, he would probably be horrified by the military-industrial complex that has grown into a monster far beyond anything he could possibly have conceived when he warned against it in 1959. Every single weapon that we possess beyond what is absolutely necessary for a reasonable defense constitutes theft from the American people.

    There is no other honest way to describe spending $1Trillion dollars a year on “defense” than theft because it can only be accomplished by stealing health and welfare, mostly from the poorest Americans.
