    They need to stop fucking around with fixed values and use a calculation based off GDP, cost of living, and county of residence.

      That would fix the actual problem though this way they can run on this issue for reelection when it gets crazy out of sync again.

      Up until that last paragraph at least. Not that I’m for minors getting trans surgeries, but they were never getting those surgeries in the first place until they turn 18. So, the fact that they bothered to make a law about it speaks to the rising transphobia in our government on both sides. So, I personally wouldn’t consider it good news. Everything else was really refreshing to read though

        2/3 of the US states still adhere to $7 an hour, so I respectfully disagree.

        Though I am on board with raising it further, and tying it to cost-of-living, so employers can’t game the system and ratchet up inflation in response.
