We can’t make the playoffs, but we still have the chance to do not one but TWO great things today with a win:

      1. - It goes without saying that number one is beating the Saints. That’s always number one.
      2. - We could end the Buc’s playoff hopes and send the Panthers to the postseason.

The Falcons have been around since '66, the Saints since '67, and the Bucs since '76. The Panthers didn’t come along until '95, so they’re like the little brother, I don’t dislike them as much as the Saints & Bucs, and I’m much happier for them to go into the playoffs.

      Soooooooo that’s a long way to say…

      RISE UP!

It was an ugly win, but at least we ended the season with a W. And bonus points that we beat the Saints AND screwed the Bucs!

I’d really be happy to see Raheem Morris let go and let’s move on. Two straight 8-9 losing seasons with no playoffs. And that 8-9 record even looks better than it is, since we won the last 4 after being eliminated from playoff contention. The team consistently looked unprepared to play, and, when we won, I feel like it was in spite of the coaching not because of it.

One half down, and we’re hanging in there 10-7 in spite of shooting ourselves in the foot more than once. But then again, we don’t own a single pair of cleats that don’t have multiple bullet holes in them from shooting ourselves in the foot.

Every other team seems to have serviceable backups. We can’t even find a serviceable starter lol. Goddamn I hope Moore delcares so we can at least get something out of this awful season.

I don’t know if Drake Maye is the real deal or if he’s just in the perfect system (or a little of column A & a little of column B), but he looks really good.

There’s definitely something to be said for the system. Josh McDaniels really can put together an awesome offense. Recall that Mac Jones looked good in his first year when McDaniels was his OC, too. But Maye sure does look good. He’s already broken a number of Brady’s records.

I think Pats’ scouts are greatly influenced by Brady and the type of QBs who fit McDaniel’s system which is why they picked Maye. Maye stank under the old OC but in McDaniel’s system he looks good. I don’t think Maye would flourish under most other OCs. It’s like Bo Nix. He got to a QB system that fits him. Otherwise, Bo Nix would be like other Duck QB Mariota. A career backup.

Maybe the right system is all it takes, though. There’s an alternate timeline in which Brady never got the right opportunity in the right system at the right time and none of us ever heard of him.

Real good reflex by Watt like a catcher, someone not used to getting hands on the ball.

This ain’t the old beat-down knock-out drag-out AFCN fight but it’s almost as good.

Neither team worthy of playoffs. Just atrocious errors and mistakes in the most important game of the season.

2 minutes left. Steelrs down 4 points and got NO timeouts left coz they had Helmet com issues. sheesh. If they lose, they deserve this loss.

OMG what an atrocious error by Steelers. Their DBs not communicating and THAT… speaks of poor cohesion or leadership or both in their team. I’d never thought a Tomlin coached team would have those issues.
