Consider that those peasants had the means of growing their own food (even if they legally couldn’t keep it). The colonists could revolt in the “British Colonies” because their families would keep the farm running while they were out training. Who is going to keep our bills paid while we’re working with the SRA?
USAmericans are in a near-unbreakable bind because most of us don’t have access to resources without the same society that is actively oppressing us. How many of us even own a plot of land to live on, let alone the means to provide food for ourselves? Sure, neighbors can come together and all grow food in our backyards… but that also means more mouths to feed.
