I’m glad I’m not American. The US is a failed country right now. Zero respect for human life. I never intended to visit it as a tourist, and now I know I won’t.
As someone who lives in Canada, same here. I’ve been in the past (IE. Pre-Trump) and it was lovely but I probably won’t go again. In our household we don’t even buy American products or shop in American stores anymore if we can possibly help it.
I know a lot of people who do the same too. I don’t think the US has quite grasped yet how much it has pissed Canada off, and how long the road is going to be to start fixing that up, if they even want to try. Certainly at the moment they seem to be set on making it worse and worse each day.
we need to treat it as a cautionary tale and fight to ensure that never happens in our countries. Americanism must be rejected at all costs.
Time to turn our attention from not engaging with anything American to actively preparing to fight and disrupt America. Wherever you are.
Do not buy American products. Do not buy domestically produced products where an American company gets money (Coca Cola for example). If you can’t afford alternatives, do without.
