From what I’ve read it’s apparently very complex and not straightforward for a state to arrest or criminally charge a federal officer for something that occurs on duty because of previous precedent from supreme court cases.
Tbh I have no doubt the state AG and many lawyers are trying to figure out what can be done and ideally won’t lead to some sort of civil war because tbh everything with Trump is on the table and we have no clue what the future holds.
