President Donald Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday night that the United States is “going to start now hitting land” in its fight against drug cartels—framing the move as a response to what he claimed is cartel control of Mexico and a U.S. death toll in the “250,000–300,000” range every year.
You think Trump gives two fucks about that? You think he cares about all those people? You think he wouldn’t happily have murdered them as well? Don’t be naive here.
Did I say that? I said he should actually follow through and fight the cartels and the colluded government, for his own selfish reasons. I think any great disruption of the deeply corrupt unholy marriage of government and mafia would be a net gain for us Mexicans.
Problem is America kills indiscriminately. Mexico will certainly be worse off during an invasion.
