Within hours, however, Trump’s hopes were dashed by the Norwegian Nobel Institute, which said its rules do not permit the passing on of its coveted prize to someone else. A spokesperson told the Daily Beast on Friday: “A Nobel Prize can neither be revoked nor transferred to others. Once the announcement of the laureate(s) has been made, the decision stands for all time. As for the prize money, the laureate(s) are free to dispose of it as they see fit.”

Obviously being selected as a laureate by an actual laureate is the same, or even better perhaps, as recognition by the body as the laureate can certainly recognize other laureates just like alphas all recognize other alphas! 🤮

On the other hand, they are cut from similar cloth, so it means about the same to the rest of the world, surely?

Oh, yeah, I mean the prize committee have turned the thing into a fucking joke as it is. It was a farce when Obama got one for simply not being quite as openly pro war as Bush was, and I genuinely cannot even begin to fathom why Machado deserves one.
