I do wonder if maybe a combination of mental decline and reduced visual acuity associated with age has something to do with it. The features are exaggerated as if to create a caricature of attractiveness: large lips, exaggerated cheek bones, excessive eye outlining. If you can’t see so well anymore those exaggerated features might reduce to attractiveness through a mental and visual haze.
If that’s the case, if you could build an AI that takes anything and applies a right-to-left filter on everything you’d see how MAGA leadership sees the rest of the world. Maybe that explains the lack of human empathy if everyone is reduced to featureless blobs.
Trump. Donald Trump specifically finds this attractive. I also think he personally gets off on the fact that women would put themselves through significant and painful elective surgery just to try to look good for men generally, and especially when it’s for him specifically.
