A federal officer shot a person in the leg in Minneapolis after being allegedly attacked with a shovel during an arrest, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press.

Videos streamed to social media from the scene show a crowd gathering. At least one ambulance was seen leaving the area. Federal agents and local police are at the scene.
