It’s that whole attitude of pulling the ladder up behind you. “I got mine” mentality. Just because you somehow scratched a bit of priviledge gives you no right to condemn those who have none. Yes, I’m cis male white as rice, and I believe no one has a right to have wealth, connections, race, gender, sexuality, etc. to give them benefit over anyone else. If we really believed that hard work gets someone anywhere, we’d start with the same budgets in schooling, healthcare, etc.
