Absolutely. Democrats support genocide and (unless a Republican is in charge) support ICE. That’s not a “lesser evil”… it also isn’t even quantifiably a lesser measure of dead bodies, if that’s all you care about for some reason.

The DNC is where progressive movements go to die. It cannot be reformed.

And that mentality is how we ended up with the worse of two evils. Better to have a Democrat than a fascist.

I’d gladly vote for a progressive if given the option to in the primaries, but should they not win, the solution to the problem is not letting the country get even worse by letting fascists into the White House during the general election.

left-america has made more gains in the last two trump terms than the last…40-50 years.

most americans are apparently too selfish, dumb, or isolated that they only see the light as to just how corrupt their government is when the economy is bad enough for them to feel direct personal pain. that hardship happens most under republicans, who want the economy to crash…

that’s when people who know how the US economy really functions stand to make the most $ and gobble up the most distressed assets. it’s a cycle of Boom and Bust (very old investment term btw, look it up) that has been going on pretty much aince the country was founded

        Stop.

You’re going to lose to a fascist again if your garbage party does the “we’re second worst and you have no choice” shit again.

Listen to your voters for fucking once. Republicans are not your voters. Netanyahu cannot vote for you.

I’m not a Democrat and would gladly vote for a democratic socialist candidate if I could, but pragmatism is necessary to keep fascists from running the country. So much suffering could have been prevented had people been useful idiots to the Republicans by elevating them with a false moral equivalence.

And anyone who didn’t vote for Harris over Palestine has now not only doomed the Palestinians, but Ukrainians fighting for their sovereignty, hardworking immigrants, and transgender, low-income, and minority Americans as well.

I voted for harris, so stop centrist-splaining that I need to vote how I already voted in an election that’s already over.

Anyone who still advocates or apologizes for a strategy of offering as little as possible while ignoring the voters is advocating for losing to fascists. Again.

That strategy has hit a wall. Regardless of how you may personally vote, it doesn’t change that the electorate is fed up with a party that refuses to do anything but sell weapons for genocide.

I keep seeing liberals saying this, but it’s just not true. There’s no metric by which Trump is worse on Palestine than Biden (and by extension Harris, who has was virtually indistinguishable from him on the issue). As for everyone else, what, did you think Harris was going to do anything for poor Americans and minorities? Jk she wouldn’t have done (or been able to do) shit because centrists kill down ballot elections. More fundamentally, though, fascism was inevitable under the political status quo; the choice was between fascism now and fascism later. If meaningful change doesn’t come from the left, people will look for it on the right; thinking 2025 was fluke is nothing short of delusional.

People like you created the idea of the lesser of two evil which led to people in last election to consider trump the less evil.

Centrists susceptible to propaganda to the point of thinking that Trump was the lesser evil were the ultimate problem.
