-30F doesn’t exist here, but we get hella strong winds. A dozen MPH shy of Wyoming wind (I am blessed with excellent weather). I do not envy you that wind chill. Last time I remember the district canceling school it was flooding. Maybe fire. IDK I was shoveling sandbags or fleeing the fire, one of the two.

Right across the lake it is only -5, the lake warms the cold snaps like 30 degrees in these polar masses. I read -36 in wi somewhere too.
