I know Vinegar is only killing the bad smells, does nothing about the health affecting of Disinfectants. I am some of you a lot knowledgable readers are like everyone knows that. 7th Generation is no longer the same company, & it’s disinfectant costs too much. We have a elderly, hyperthyroidism & rat ulcer cat & elderly & hospice dog that goes right through disinfectants!
I would also like to have a DYI disinfectant that kills cats’ urine smell, from cats ability to smell where they peed before. To try to stop the cats’ constant peeing.
I tried to DuckDuckGo search for websites that have Organic Disinfectant Spray recipe(s), but cannot find any thing, I know or believe works, I can trust.
Do any of you know website(s) that has Organic Disinfectant Spray recipe(s)? If so, then could you please explainwhy & provide the website(s) & thus recipe(s)?

For the cat peeing on things, you’ll need an enzymatic cleaner - nothing else will do.
Also keep in mind basic chemistry - whatever chemical process is required to oxidize something will pretty much be the same process regardless of what chemical you use, if it can oxidize a specific thing.
The biggest difference will be the carrier that’s used.
I’m not convinced that disinfectants do much at all to be honest. If they do, let’s see the manufacturer publish the testing with all the data, and put it on every container.
You be surprised how many cleaners cannot even claim they disinfect.
They will never donthat, plus the writing would be so small, better to have certifying organization you know you can trust & look for that. Or as this thread is about, hint, DIY recipes.
