The worst part about it has to be the signing bonus scheme.
As I understand it, they get the sum right away, probably blow it all on lifting their trucks and stupid shit, and then they’re committed for 5 years. For every year they break contract early they owe 10k, so even if they have a change of heart, they’re stuck in hell.
A lot of them sleep in campers on private property, must be a miserable life already.

Campers have small windows and malleable exteriors. It’d be a shame if someone boarded up the door and then something happened to the camper.
The gennys on those things could be faulty and fill the thing with CO.
Hoooking them up and dragging them to the middle of nowhere would be better though.
