Damn. Hard to tell specifically what happens. Looks like the shooter felt like a third wheel and was groping for “tasks”, pulls his gun to cover I guess, possibly has an accidental discharge trying to handle his weapon while keyed up on adrenaline and in a dog pile, then panics and starts shooting more. I also wonder if the dead guy, if he did in fact ave a gun on him, I wonder if they fired his gun trying to remove it, then panicked and started shooting.
At any rate, this type of thing is 100% inevitable when you give a bunch of guys with poor to no training unlimited power, zero accountability, and murky marching orders. This is why the whole ICE program is fundamentally unethical. Completely rudderless violence.
Just to make sure terminology is correct. There is no such thing as accidental discharge. They are negligent discharge. Accident are like whoops I spilled my milk. When you’re given a firearm you’re responsible for its state at all times. Never point it at anything you do not intend to kill.
