You and a few other fucking crybabies have been bitching lately about not liking what you see. Block and move on. It’s easy. But, a Wiki article was posted to the Wikipedia discussion community. That’s what happens in this community and you come blubbering " oh is there no refuge from US politics", sure there is. There’s comics communities, LGBTQ communities, neurodivergence communities, art communities, cat picture communities. Don’t be fucking lazy. If you don’t like a post, even though it fits the community it was posted to, and how you decide to handle that is to complain, someone is going to tell you to shut the fuck up. I am taking that opportunity right now. Shut the fuck up.
This kind of comment (which I skim-read) is exactly why social media has such a bad name.
You’re someone who enjoys swearing and insulting people and probably doesn’t care if you get insulted in return. Do you really imagine that most people in society are like that?
Without moderation, every community inevitably ends up as an echo chamber inhabited by people like you. The others have all fled. For the community dedicated to Wikipedia, I hoped for better.
