    This is sad. They did wrong, but I still walked past them often in Seattle and always saw people outside chatting and having a good time.

      They helped popularize ebikes by offering middling but inexpensive bikes early on, but otherwise the company was pretty poor quality, and they didnt treat their staff well. Selling to PE just sounded their death knell.

      They served their purpose, but there are better brands out there now. Lectric covers their “cheap and heavy, but good” niche well, and now you can get high quality ebikes from all over.
