Thank fuck that’s done by humans. The idea of using AI for obituaries sounds intensely disrespectful. Like, “Hey, we loved you, but not enough to actually write something loving about you.”
If somebody uses AI to write mine, I’d go haunting the shit out of whoever made that decision.
Damnit that’s me I’m the fucking obit guy, (was), and that job is not available to machine learning. The obit guy calls people and talks to them.
