A lot of them do in fact quit to work in the private sector, it’s a smart move in this administration and I would do the same if I worked in the federal government unless it was a role in directly opposing the administration, which I can’t even think of anyone doing that right now. We’ve gone from a nation of “checks and balances” to just “bad checks.”
The ones you’re pointing out for quitting are the ones that you want in those positions. It’s not MAGA workers that are quitting because of what’s going on.
