Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. is voluntarily recalling 1,589,577 dozen white shell eggs and brown cage free shell eggs produced in Texas.
Did someone think that putting “1.6 million dozen” in the headline actually makes the number somehow easier to comprehend? It’s over 19 million.
you’re right that it doesn’t, but they come in dozens as the standard economic unit.
