Unfortunately not, it sounds kind of like a normal horn but WAY louder. I can’t stop on a dime so if someone cuts me off I need them to know they are in danger haha. But honestly I’d love an awooga horn.
My van. It got a new horn today. That’s one thing.

No I’m definitely thinking console gamers. When buying new, most console gamers just download. I imagine Sony is basing this decision on purchase numbers of new games physical vs digital, and not paying any mind at all to the secondhand market. Customers of the secondhand market are not their customers in this perspective.
Again, not saying I agree with this, but they can certainly use new game purchase numbers as a justification here, even if it cuts out a portion of gamers, because that portion doesn’t account for most of their game revenue.

That’s a nice combo. I do wish they had some more vibrant main colors. Green stood out the most to me but I would have bought a bright blue or something if they had it.

I’m not sure what you mean by layers. Like symbols? And I have, and it’s okay, but I never got good enough at it for it to feel natural. I mostly tap type with 2 thumbs, or 1 if it’s quick and I’m lazy.

Yeah, but I bought the phone knowing the layout. I wouldn’t have bought it if it wasn’t right for me, so not being able to customize it later isn’t a problem.

Me too. Which colors are you getting? I was torn between the default white/maroon and green/brown. I settled on green/brown eventually.

Exactly what I want haha. Completely utilitarian communication device that can do media in a pinch.
(On a side note my calculator in high school spent more time playing homebrew games than it spent doing math)

Might not work for some people, but I’ve never once changed my keyboard layout after customizing it the first time like a decade ago. I only speak one language though.

They aren’t wrong though. Gamers at large just prefer downloading games. The vocal minority likes physical games, including me. But the average person who wants to play the latest popular title doesn’t put that much thought into it. “Why buy a game when I have to download patches and content anyway? I don’t want all those boxes I’ll never use cluttering up my living room.”
I think there is merit in producing physical games even without mass demand, and I’m upset this is happening. But they’re not wrong in their claims.

I am in bed right now but tomorrow I can take a look at my setup and suggest some things.
A couple examples: I connected my litter robot (litter box) to HA and it notifies me when the cats break something, and I can see statistics of which cats use it and how often to keep an eye on their health. I have it turn on the portable air filter after a cat goes and leave it on for 15 minutes. I also automate 2 dehumidifiers based on humidity sensors I built with some tiny wifi microcontrollers and hard wired humidity sensing chips (I can tell you more about that with specific models later)
I also control a roomba-style lawnmower with HA.
Lots of other little things too like sunset-based light triggers and doorbell-triggered events and stuff.
All of these are things I already owned before I set up HA. Just browse through integrations and also get HACS (a community extension store built-in to the UI) and see what you already own that can be connected. I bet it will be more than you expect.
Yes! This will cover a lot. And the HA Green is super easy to set up, as far as home assistant deployments are concerned. I don’t have any extra antennas yet and I’ve automated so much of my existing smart home stuff with just the Green.

Some of the electric razors out there could help with this. I have a couple ridges in the back of my head and I just jam that thing in there and it gets it pretty well when a normal razor can’t. Mine’s panasonic, they make some good ones. But many brands make similar ones. Just don’t get one of the ones with several circular heads, those won’t get into the cracks. The ones that are basically half-tubes lined up parallel can get in there good. Something with a head that looks like this:
Besides, the real ones don’t care what your head looks like. Do what feels best for you.

You know, I wanted to find and post this image myself but I was away at the time, and my phone screen is like 2 inches. Thank you for doing it instead 😅

It’s not all bad. I just compiled ocarina of time on my Linux pc and ran it natively at 144fps using keyboard controls.

The percentage of games that don’t work on Linux due to anticheat is so low that I don’t see this mattering in the long run.
