Well, you can enable it per-library, also Storage is not that much, I scalled down to 160p tho for my needs it’s more than enough
But for my library, it took a few weeks, but I limited the number of ffmpeg thread to 3-4.

Yes good point, sorry, directory should be executable, files don’t have to be.
Thank you for pointing it out!
Concerts ? this seems like an plugin to me. You can just create a second Movie library ?
Jellyfin will find all files, naming files is for when jellyfin needs to fetch metadata, if your file is not named correctly, jellyfin might struggle to find its correct metadata.
Also, look if there are not weird chars in filename, for example emoji, weird unicode and stuff, I don’t think that’s the issue here but maybe?
Also, for permission check if all files have the same user:group permission
Files need to be executable iirc, verify permission and compare permissions from a file that is shown in your library from a file that isn’t.
Doesn’t handbrake has an option to not re-encode the video ? But yeah totally agree, it’s not worth it to re-encode everything just to remove audio tracks.
mkvtoolnix and handbrake are pretty useful and powerful, you might try those
Ive seen someone run into issue when using the Proton Pass extension, do you have it? Try disabling it (also try in a private window)
It’s pretty good, it keep the default aestetics while modernising it!
You have some interesting idea!
What I’d love to see is for it to be ActivityPub enabled, let us browse your thing from here! This would benefit you and us!
Also, you need to change the name, too much things are named matrix, maths, the decentralised platform, the movies and more!
Also, design-wise it really feels like a WIP, which I understand it is!
No link with their bs account system, their bs subscriptions and SyncPlay, SyncPlay is just awesome, I don’t know if plex has something similar
What a bunch of asshole (mazda that is)
Well all the same, except for the number of thread. in the end (at around80%) I bumbed the threads to 15, and CPU was still the same in the consumption, however, there were 15 ffmpeg process. so maybe a but in the jellyfin-ffmpeg package ? or maybe I’m missing something here
