Can’t tell if this is fedbait or just idiocy.
I agree with you in principle, but goddamn dude

I love caulk

Okay but I sure miss having a phone with an IR blaster. Was quite fun to sit in the corner of an empty restaurant and change the channel on the TVs that show the menu back when I was a drunk gremlin
Right equipment makes it infinitely easier and safer, but even a 10 foot tree could easily be lethal or life ruining if the people working it don’t know what they’re doing or aren’t paying attention. Felling or even trimming trees is extremely dangerous
This particular account is specifically a satire account
He’s not watching someone take a shit

If my mother/sister/daughter was a wet nurse, I’d have zero problems with it if they did it by their own choice. Same as if they were able to bottle and sell their own breastmilk for a couple extra bucks, kinda like how people are able to donate blood or plasma or semen for a little money sometimes.
Provided it’s not being abused and they are not enslaved or abused into doing it, I don’t see a problem with it
Edit: also that the milk went through a proper pasteurization process to ensure safety to anyone who was buying it

Well… Yeah, kinda at a base level. If the law actually did its job and told him ‘no’ when he wanted to avoid prison, or even told him no to a million other illegal things he did, it’d be a lot better I think

Yeah, you asked for an example of exceptionally shitty republicans in Texas and got an answer.

Or needing a simple yet life saving drug/procedure done but their insuranc refuses to pay for it and they die slowly and painfully. Or get hit by a car and break their neck leading them to live the rest of their ‘life’ unable to move or communicate

Bring out the guillotine!

I dunno, whatever dipshit decided to disconnect Texas from the power grid the rest of the country is on and killed a bunch of people that one winter. Haven’t seen another state do that yet

A few years ago, my dad was upset about how “you can’t say man or woman anymore. How are you gonna call the cops on someone robbing you? Say ‘It was a person average height!’ Or they’ll arrest you for using the word man!”
I just asked if he was fucking stupid and does that sound like something that would even remotely happen, then said I was leaving if that’s how he thinks and left. Ignored any attempts at contact until he apologized and admitted he might be a little incorrect, which was progress enough to start.

I mean, if I was murdering innocent people, poisoning others, preventing people from accessing medicine for easily treatable diseases, and raping children with the express backing of the government, I’d hope for the love of God somebody put a guillotine on my lawn with full intent to use it.
To answer your question succinctly: Yes.

Worked just fine to scare off those AI dweebs in Oregon. Why not use it to symbolize that now?
Symbols can change over time and I think that 230 years is plenty of time for it to have changed

73 of the 90 something cases reported in Texas. How surprising
So, you say you aren’t out of touch and then immediately describe how out of touch you are
As an aside, it’s been a long while since I hired someone who was unemployed
I have 10 years of experience in my field and two difficult certifications where even one is uncommon and highly desired. I am a prime hire. When my company got out bid and had to lay off the entire workforce, it still took me almost 7 months to get rehired and that was with sending an average of roughly 40 applications out every day. I used my entire savings and my partner had to dip into theirs to supplement rent in that time. The single one that called me back ended up hiring me during the interview.
Now, let’s do a little math since your terminal victim brain can’t seem to empathize with people less lucky than you got in life: assume a quick and decent personalized letter only takes 10 minutes. Not so bad, right? For 40 applications, that’s 400 minutes divided by 60 (the number of minutes in an hour) and you get 6.66 repeating. Nearly 6 and a half hours per day just doing a ‘quick letter’ and you’re complaining that you have to ask a couple more questions during an interview, where you’re still making money. You’re right that one of us is definitely an out of touch fucking moron and it sure as hell isn’t me
Hard agree. The people who shit on it rarely have a good reason besides “It just annoys me” and frankly makes him look even better compared to the whiners
