I have 4 computers, only gaming one is still running Windows, other 3 were moved to Linux few years ago when Microsoft started with forced online accounts bs because I couldn’t be bothered dealing with stupid bypasses. Two are running Ubuntu, one is running Fedora. Those are never going back to Windows.

Are people really this stupid now?

I still have this. I can adjust all of it without ever looking at knobs while driving. Good luck doing that with touch bs.

Disabling “Google” app seems to break A LOT of data mining. So make sure you disable that crap. Also disable Chrome and uninstall/disable Gemini. Also use DNS level filtering like NextDNS or AdguardDNS. The amount of crap these filter while not affecting my usage of smartphone is wild. And I’m using Hagezi Ultimate which is the most aggressive block list.

Um, this literally goes entirely against 1st Amendment. That’s literally all about free speech. To be able to comment or criticize politicians and politics without government retaliating. And now they want to do that exactly. These fuckers straight want a dictatorship.

Who would even want to come to USA at the moment? USA is on the same shit list as most 3rd world countries I wouldn’t want to visit even if you pay me.

Actually that’s not as absurd as it seems. NAND memory starts corrupting data if it doesn’t get any current for few years. I’m not sure if just power on USB triggers it or does controller on device need to be specifically activated by OS detection. I guess controller goes on the moment it gets power.

I got Commodore C128 as my first computer when rest of the world was solidly running Pentiums. That had to be around 1997 or something. That might explain my “acquired” taste in games.
