Also having to open this device to replace the SD card is a bit off putting. I understand that you also have to open a traditional iPod to replace the storage, but this is neither apple nor the early 2000s. My mp3 player has an easily accessible SD card slot on the side and I don’t see why this device could not have one either.

64gb can fit around 700 hi res flacs if we assume an average length of 4min. That’s more than 40 hours of music before you’d be repeating. I don’t have this device but I have 128gb storage and I only have 1k songs I love so it’s not even full.

The purpose for most people is just to use the phone less, not replace it entirely.

I went back to my mp3 player for music because I found that when I was streaming music I would start skipping tracks all the time and basically just listen to the same few songs even though I could have listened to literally anything, which is apparently a quite common thing called choice paralysis.
Plus while I was skipping tracks, I would also start reading the notifications on my phone, and then I would start answering the notifications and basically just use my phone when it wasn’t necessary.

Now I have a smaller selection of songs I really like and I don’t skip around on my mp3 player and I also have no incentive to use my phone while listening to music.

Bei uns sagt man das schon oft, wenn irgendjemand zum Beispiel jemand versucht dich wegen irgendwas niederzumachen oder sonst irgendwie zu viel Zeit dafür investiert über andere Leute nachzudenken.

Beispiel:
Person a: “Boah wie du wieder rumläufst”
Person b: (Augenbrauen hochziehen) “hast du wohl keine Hobbies” impliziert: warum hast du so viel Zeit mich zu beobachten, wohl nix besseres zu tun?

Das nächste im englischen dafür wäre, “nice to see I am living rent free in your head” aber keine Hobbies hat mehr Anwendungsfälle.

I’d really like to get this car but most people have told me it’s too risky for me, anyone else has any input?
I can’t load at home or work, but I could load at a station accessible by foot a few minutes from my house, as well as once a week when I go shopping for about 30-45 minutes.
I only have to drive twice a week, 90km per day two days in a row, with no opportunity to load in between, but I could load the day before and the day after. People have told me it’s too risky especially in winter I might not make it on that distance.

My cat started doing the same thing, except he started attacking my feet which was quite painful. I picked him up and put him outside and closed the door, then went back to sleep. Mine also cried but I sleep like a rock so it doesn’t bother me plus he can just go sleep with the other cat so it’s not like he is lonely all night. He got the hint super quick and now it’s no longer an issue.

Mostly Snes for me. Ironically Simons quest for nes I’d actually consider a search action game, but the game was quite the outlier from the normal level based linear Castlevania games and not very popular.

The generational part might be true. The Castlevania games I grew up with were no “metroidvanias” so the name is doubly silly to me.

People calling search action games metroidvania is a big pet peeve of mine. No idea why it bothers me. Anyways hollow knight is my favorite, followed closely by silksong.

I have seen gramophones and telegraphs in museums, I wonder if one day I will live to see payphones in normal non specialty museums? Also right now we still have some payphones here, but what I haven’t seen in probably more than 20 years are payphone cards.
