

Jaguar had no choice. I was working for one of their suppliers until a couple of years ago and their sales figures were not good. Nobody was buying their saloon cars anymore, and their SUVs were selling well but were essentially eating into Land Rover’s market share, so they had to do something different. It is easier to sell low numbers of outrageously expensive cars than to mass produce cheaper ones so that’s what they’re gonna do.
The most they can do is hold up a sign for an hour on a Saturday afternoon, because apparently every single one of them is “LiViNg PaYcHeCk To PaYcHeCK”
