There’s also an upgrade that isn’t free that’s being removed. Granted the upgrade was one of their freebie offers relatively recent.

There’s ads over the PA? I have never heard any. It might be because I’m typically in-and-out and focused on just getting what I need or maybe I’ve just been tuning them out. I’ll have to listen more carefully next time I’m at Target and Walmart.
I had a folding phone (Fold4). Once a video was playing the fold wasn’t as noticeable as long as you looked at it straight on. From an angle, the fold was annoying.
The worst part about the phone was that it was uncomfortable to hold when folded or not, it was cumbersome, and finding a good case for it was nearly impossible.
I would rather carry something like my Deck in a case than save a little space with a folding device. Those folding screens are also very shiny and super sensitive. You can scratch those screens with your finger nails.
Yeah. I’m not a fan of their shuffle either. I sometimes want music I’ve never heard before. Supposedly their discover weekly playlist is what provides this but it’s always full of covers of songs I already regularly listen to.
I’m checking out Tidal right now. Is there a way to import the playlists that doesn’t cost money?
When you say “a real shuffle” what do you mean?
So far the audio quality is noticeably better and I have both set to maximum quality. Only complaint so far is that they seem to combine artists of same or similar names. For example, it was tough to find Wolves without it confusing different artists of the same name. I found a metal core band from Milwaukee of the same name which I like, but I was looking for a band from the early 2000’s from Massachusetts. Once I found them, Tidal lists other artists’ albums under the more albums section.
Could be full-commission sales too.
Keep in mind that the cops don’t have to provide you with their reasonable suspicion in order to demand ID. It’s not until court that they have to provide their reasonable suspicion. So they have plenty of time to come up with justification after the fact.
Also, on the Fifth Amendment I thought I had read somewhere about a case where a man simply remained silent and never once invoked his right and it didn’t end well for him. I cannot remember the details, but for some reason I thought that you still had to invoke the fifth even if you have not yet answered any questions. I’ll have to look back into this later and post back if I find the story.
I prefer to keep my notes as handwritten (I draw a lot of diagrams and graphs in my notes). But it does indeed convert my handwriting to type if I want it to. And it does a great job of it especially with how messy my handwriting can be.
The feel of it is very comfortable too (feels like writing on paper). I used to use a Surface Book in tablet mode for notes, but wanted to get away from Microsoft. The screen of the Note 3C isn’t smooth, it’s textured like paper
Their note app takes some getting used to, but it works pretty well (templates are a little tricky, but they just made an update to improve it).
The only thing I really miss from OneNote on the Surface was printing PDFs into OneNote. That said, you can annotate directly onto PDFs, it just makes things a little less organized unless you use the PDF as a template.
Yeah. The color definitely isn’t a replacement for an actual comic or graphic novel. It’s good enough to give you an idea of what it should look like. And I agree. If you have no need for the color, then black and white is going to be much better.
I have the Boox Onyx Note 3c. Its a color e-ink and its okay for comics. But I mainly use it for note taking. The colors are helpful for more detailed notes. The eink display makes it easier in my eyes especially for long days of note taking.
That doesn’t say anything about lethal range. It just says they won’t allow it to be lower than the ISS’s orbit. It could be because of “lethal range” or it could be that they want as little crap in the way of routes to and from the ISS.
I looked over the article (albeit very quickly) just in case you didn’t quote enough of the article on accident and I didn’t see anything about lethality. I could have missed it or I’m not reading between the lines (maybe missing their meaning in the article).
It was quicker since the machine was already setup as a server on the network. So all I had to setup was Jellyfin. I’m also not including downloading the client software on our phones and Roku. But frankly that was easy and each device found the server immediately.
We cancelled all our streaming services this month except Disney+ which is credited back on our credit card each month.
We had Netflix, Prime, and Crunchyroll that we cancelled. We don’t really watch anything on Prime. On Netflix we just watched reruns for background noise while doing other things around the house. And Crunchyroll removed Funimation’s digital library after acquisition so I canceled them on principle even though that was easily the most used service.
I setup a Jellyfin server. It took only maybe 15 minutes and I even setup a few profiles with parental controls on one.
I already knew how to acquire the media for the server. It works pretty well on our Roku too. Way better than Plex and way more clean of a UI.
I’ve had my QD-OLED for a little while now and it has had quite a bit of static images on it without any trouble. From what I read before I bought it, OLEDs in general really don’t have a burn-in issue like the early models did.
From what I can tell they’re better than even plasma was at the end. And you’d have trouble actively trying to get permanent burn in on some later model plasmas. I used to service TVs and appliances. In most cases outside of using a plasma display for digital signage, I’d be able to run a swiping pattern for a little bit to get rid of the image retention. The only exception I really had for a plasma that was used in a residence was an older couple who didn’t have a widescreen source and only watched shows in 4:3 aspect ratio. They finally got the HD channels from their TV provider and realized they had the bars on the sides burned in (really the screen aged unevenly).
I’m not one hundred percent sure, but the email I got from Epic says they’re refunding the legendary upgrade and that Redstone shards are only good until November 1st. I don’t actually play the game, but I got the email because I got the legendary upgrade when it was a freebie.
