I’ve got it plugged in directly to usb ports in a Belkin extension lead (2.4A), it’s been fine all that time so I doubt it’s that.
This might be it actually, I’ve bought google Wi-Fi mesh with three access points about a month ago, two of them are running in ethernet backhaul mode but one is not, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was causing interference…
Thanks for this, I’ll look into it.
I did, multiple times, I installed newest HA on a new microSD card, restored a backup but the lag is still there…
It’s not batteries as I swapped them all.
I don’t think it’s the devices I think it affects all of them, unless ikea released some buggy firmware.
It’s all Zigbee devices.
I was thinking that too but it doesn’t look like it’s batteries. In the past the motion sensors would die without this wired behaviour, now the batteries were like at 20%, I put fresh ones in but it didn’t help…
I’ve been running core-2021.8.6 before, now I installed the newest version on new microSD, it was annoying to when restoring a backup as I had to restore Zigbee devices separately and also the automations didn’t transfer, then the devices wouldn’t show in HA despite showing in Zigbee2MQTT…
I’ve got it all working now but the lag still remains.
I’m guessing it’s maybe the USB sniffer being old and breaking down?
I’ve been running that for about two years as well and it’s been fine, but from some time it won’t update and won’t create a backup anymore… It says: “You are running an unsupported installation” and “Your installation is unhealthy”. I think I looked into that a few months ago and it turned out there was some change and I’d have to update docker first, but then I’ve been reading that all your devices disappear, so I really don’t have time to add all the light bulbs and motion sensors and switches and create blueprints from scratch… So I bought a new SD card and I’m planning to run a fresh install and then I copied the config folder via WinSCP and I’m hoping I can restore that as a backup.
I really tried… they just said this purchase was not eligible for a refund…
Ahh I figured it out. I went to Supervisor > Zigbee2mqtt > Configuration tab - there I noticed there was still old IP (server: mqtt://192.168.0.35:1883), I’ve updated that and now everything works again!
I was convinced my bank will give me a refund as I used a credit card, so it’s their money kind of, I told them via a chat I didn’t recognise that transaction, they said they will put a block on transactions from apple for 12 months and to call their fraud department, so I did, spoke with them for 20 min and in the end they couldn’t refund it because they can see I used my iPad to buy that app. After that I tried speaking with their senior advisor, been on a call for 33 min with them, the guy was trying to dispute it with their accounts department and in the end said they can’t change their decision as that app in not eligible! Shocked. Lesson learned, apple in UK doesn’t give refunds for apps, maybe they used to in the past but they don’t anymore…
Thanks for this. I’ve tried it first time but chose “my purchase does not work as expected“ - that’s what I get for being honest… Now when I’m trying again it says “You have no purchases that are eligible for a refund.”
I’ve used a credit card and I’m in the process of asking my bank to cancel that transaction.
Good idea but I don’t think I can because this transaction is not showing in my wallet as it wasn’t via Apple Pay, I think App Store purchases charge the cards directly and it doesn’t go via Apple Pay…
Yes in England. They just rejected it and said to me on chat they cannot change the decision: “I have checked your account with my resources and it looks like you already requested refund for the same purchase and I’m afraid to inform you that since the refund request got denied there is no option to request for the refund again.
While I’m not able to explain in detail what our decision-making process is when considering refund requests, what I can tell you is that there are limited circumstances in which we at iTunes are able to provide refunds for various purchases. Upon review, our escalation team determined that we are unable to provide a refund here today. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Many thanks for the suggestion, I changed the channel from 11 to 25 and it’s working perfectly again!
