The feds aren’t directly repealing state laws. Though the Trump administration is actively trying to indirectly repeal state laws by getting them struck down in the courts. Just last week the DOJ filed suits against Virginia and California to try to overturn some of their restrictions. The DOJ sued Colorado back in May as well.

So many regulations. Moreso at the state and local level, where they vary wildly from place to place.

Whether the regulations make sense is another issue altogether.

US, if my avatar didn’t already make that clear. My short list is Canada, Norway, Germany, France, New Zealand, Chile, in no particular order. Basically, places with snowy mountains and ski resorts.

It’s hard to pick just one place, though. There are so many beautiful and interesting spots in the world.

From what I have found Trump seems to have done it on his own. Balogun had accepted his red card about as gracefully as anyone, even shaking hands with the ref after the match. And the US team had said they would not challenge the call. It looks like everyone was going to just get on with life and move forward.

I think there’s enough precedent at this point that everyone would still treat the Construction Constitution as law.

However, the case is also when the Supreme Court gave itself the power to override Congress by declaring laws unconstitutional. If the court overturned Marbury v. Madison the court would also be kneecapping itself by giving up one of its greatest powers.
