  • I’d say no you can’t do that. It is missing a neutral connector entirely and there is no way it could preserve all functionality if it were possible to configure another port as the neutral phase connector. And as a tiny size is the most important aspect of it’s design, I wouldn’t expect there to be an internal circuit that would allow a reconfiguration like that, even if the number of connectors were not the limit.

    If you want to use one with a neutral connection, choose the appropriate product.


  • No no, you are understanding this right. Both do pretty much the same thing and neither is truely better or worse than the other. ZHA seems to be the more user friendly option and Zigbee2MQTT the more involved one. But then again plenty of happy users with either of those two. It just doesn’t matter much. If you already have a ton of Tasmota Wifi devices that use MQTT, then using Zigbee2MQTT may be more familiar to you.
