Oh you are right, didn’t know that was available in HA GUI. Thank you, I’ll test it out later.

I was looking for automtion that turns off the speakers, but I could have the same approach for turning them on.
If I understood correctly, that triger would be active at any state change (from on to off, from off to unavailable, from off to on, from unavailable to off) and then using IF ChromeCast is off it would activate automation even when it changes from unavailable to off. That wouldn’t solve the issue, am I missing something?
I want it to triger when changing from on to off only, while ignoring change from unavailble to off.
Glad it worked!
In client go to settings -> playback -> Queue all susequent episodes
I never use shuffle, but check out is auto queue enabled
Thank you. It makes sense now
Get it closer to AP and see is it wifi signal
I will if i dont forget. Feel free to remind me.
I was reading other comments as well. You can also disable transcoding on the client side, the video will not play at all if transcoding is required. Also try disabling subtitles, sometimes subtitles require transcoding for some reason (don’t know why tho).
Got one few days ago and I can confirm its working perfectly fine. I just did software update on first boot, installed jellyfin and next thing Im watching a movie
I wonder where that extra 5 is coming from
Most likely PSU efficiency because they are bad on super low power. Still insane, 7W is nothing
2W is insane. I wonder how much it actually drains from the wall.
My server idles at 30-35W and turning it off for 6 hours at night (cheaper electricity) would save like 4€ a year. Its cheap here tho
Im usually updating containers using portainer:
But some containers give error, so I have to:
It might be useless for your problem, but posting this just in case. For the same reason Ill try dockge and see if updates are easier
I guess you can add attributes to door sensors. Attribute “visible” with if statement that says NO if default open doors are opened or if default closed doors are closed. Then list all door sensors and exclude these with attribute NO.
I never tried this, I dont even have door sensor, but that came to my mind. There might be better solution
Thats true, but I would also add a manual rocker switch for that case. Better option would be custom electronics (like arduino or simmilar) that trigers without homeassistant, but thats probably too complex for my knowledge…maybe in the future, but first I need to find a working solution
Ah I see what you mean. It would be cheaper if I dont need a 2nd device, but our hood has 3 position switch for different speeds. Its probably still posible to wire it somehow, but I dont know is it worth to mess around with the wiring and avoid warranty while 20€ device can make it more simple
Yeah, I have this one right now
It stopps the smell 90%, so still stinks ater long cooking. I believe it goes trought tiny holes around the hinge. As I mentioned in previous post, I also added filter and still sucks.
Most motorized dampers I found are also spring loaded in closed position, but motors are DC 12V or 5V which seems to be more complex to implement than 220V one from ebay.
Thx
Damper from the link require both channels, one for opening and another one to close it. I could use another single channel shelly for the hood tho.
Wow links are super usefull, thank you a lot!Damper seems like it could seal way better than a flap, I think Ill contact Fantech
Thank you
You are right, its working fine now. Wasnt aware that from/to was implemented. Thx
