Agents forced their way into a women’s bathroom and told an occupant to "pull up your pants and come out" during the raid.

Remember his first term? The one where ICE put kids in cages, lost a lot of them, and some died? Starting to ring a bell?

Then, do you also remember all the prosecutions against ICE agents during the following administration?

If you do, please link it, because I sure as fuck don’t remember reading it.

      Some were. As an example:

      https://www.justice.gov/usao-wdtx/pr/federal-judge-finds-cbp-officer-guilty-using-excessive-force

There were also a number of them under investigation, but the investigations have stalled.

Nowhere near enough have been prosecuted or even investigated for that matter, but to suggest there is no difference under Democrats compared to Republicans would not be accurate.

And some CBP officers are still being prosecuted under the current administration so you’ll need to actually point out what the difference is if a few token prosecutions is all you have to make a distinction.

Let me know when those land with some sentencing.

That said, If you can’t see a difference in the operation of each administration (which I can’t even comprehend being possible, personally, without some sort of willful ignorance), then nothing I say will matter anyway.

Your link doesnt even mention sentencing but after googling it myself, the guy got 24 months. You must not have even bothered to read my links because the first one mentions the guy being sentenced to 15 years.

That said, If you can’t see a difference in the operation of each administration

One does illegal stuff and is up front and in your face about it, while the other does illegal stuff and feigns ‘outrage’ over the ‘injustice’ but secretly supports it behind the scenes. Both make everything worse just at differing rates. This is what happens when you keep choosing greater and lesser evil and refuse to support someone or something good. I’ll bet you complain about the two party system while arguing that we should never vote for anything but one of the two parties.

I see what you are saying, but making it news will not fix this issue. They also had 4 years to prosecute Trump and failed. The problem is here, but you cannot fix it by making it news. That’s all I am trying to say. :)

I get that. What I don’t get is what the solution is

The entire world is holding their breath waiting for Trump and Putin to die of natural causes. And even then, it’s a pretty vague hope for things to be ever so slightly better.

Oh, it will not be better, just different. Even in very transparent and democratic countries such as Switzerland, you have those issues, just less extreme.

Things will normalize again after a large scale world war, but only for a couple of decades.
