That was one of her issues on TNG. She thought she could get a career in movies, and didn’t really have much in the way of humility. Like so many people at the time, she didn’t think TNG would take off or her character would get any development. And remember that the episode where she was featured most was Code of Honor - if that was what I was basing my predictions on without the benefit of hindsight, I would be out of there ASAP too!
Thanks, I had almost forgotten that abomination existed! Yeah, that’s a good point. I wonder if that’s part of why they killed her off so unceremoniously. Whatever the case, I’m really glad both Denise and Tasha were brought back for Yesterday’s Enterprise because she gave a great performance alongside Shooter McGavin Christopher McDonald.
Wait, Tasha’s family or Denise’s family?
Sela’s family.
hwiiy veruul!
Both, but I was mostly talking about Denise. Bing & Denise are the exception for the family, not the rule.
Oh wow, I never even put together that she was Bing Crosby’s granddaughter.

Shooter McGavinChristopher McDonald.Yes, they killed her off because she was basically ready to quit the show. She and Berman had some bad blood over it too.
