That’s wild. I loved my switch 1, but some of the stuff (virtual cards, fake game cards with a key, etc) and the price… I’ll just stick with my deck for now.

This might be the first Nintendo generation I fully skip. The problems with people getting banned for legitimate games (either because they were imported, previously dumped, or falsely flagged), confusing key-cards, and very high prices have put me off.

I could buy a pile of Switch games for the cost of a S2, or i could set up a couple retro consoles with ODEs/Flash Carts and have potentially hundreds of games to play.

It wasn’t a perfect launch, but I’ve been surprised at the general availability of the Switch 2. I was convinced you wouldn’t be able to get ahold of one for love or money for months and months after launch.

Both the ongoing strong sales and good availability suggest that Nintendo was prepared this generation and had plenty of consoles in warehouses prior to launch.
