With the help of local photographer Keith Willis, I snapped my first photos of the tiny burrowing owl. This morning we found the bird relatively hidden within the gap of an abandoned railway switch, not easily spotted (and I just assumed I wouldn’t find such a bird in an urban / industrial stretch of San Pedro, CA).
“Muwahahahahaaaaa they’ll never find me in here!”
The first little owl’s house was made of sticks.
The second little owl’s house was made of earth.
But the thiiiiird little owl’s house was made of iron!
