Yeah, Neelix has a lot of annoying times (and creepy in the case of Kes) but I definitely like him as the guy who’s smiling because he’s seen some truly terrible shit and just wants the people around him to feel comfortable in their situations. Neelix was written so many different ways in Voyager, it’s hard to totally like or dislike him.
