    I don’t think it was a false flag.

    1. They were going to enact whatever they intended to anyway.

    2. I can’t think of a person more deserving of being that target.

    3. He didn’t wield any actual power.

      Fascists always needs to manufacture outrage to enact their plans because their plans are always bonkers nonsense that the majority of humans naturally oppose.

      Kirk was generic and entirely expendable.

      There’s no strong evidence yet that it was a false flag, but it’s reasonable to point out that’s a possibility.
