That’s right folks, vaccines for Congress but not for you. We could learn valuable lessons from Nepal about how to deal with this problem.

By removing the vaccine for 65-74 year olds, no kids in that age range will die from the vaccine… I did the math :)

    Jesus CHRIST.

Fuck this guy. Who the fuck does he even think he is? This makes my blood boil. 75 and up - kiss my ass.

I thank J.R. “Bob” Dobbs that I live in Colorado and they have sane people here taking extra steps to counter this absolute INSANITY. I can schedule a Covid shot at Safeway, and they don’t even ask about those bullshit “preconditions” to get the shot under 65, so Bobby Brainworm can sit and spin.

Unfortunately even here in a sane blue state, with all the confusion this asshat has created, not all people here are aware they can get the shot, so I guess we’ll have to see about any kind of herd immunity this season.

There was even a brief time where we needed a prescription. I was running an errand in Cheyenne a week ago and was almost going to get it done there while I was across state lines.

Thankfully, Colorado has cleared it up. I can even go through the scheduling on Safeway’s platform and they don’t have me checking some box that I have to worry about going to my insurance company later. Sure, I can just say I have some precondition on there like “lack of exercise” or “obese”, but why risk that?

No one should have to fucking lie to get a vaccine that has been available for years and given to millions just because just enough people voted for a vindictive moron who put a conspiracy theorist in charge of our health.

No arguments here. My point was, even in a pretty blue state that should be safe, we still got (briefly) caught in a technicality because of this stupid timeline. Pretty crazy that Wyoming of all places had better laws, but I guess Wyoming is a different kind of red than, say, Florida.

Yes, you expressed your point clearly. Any ire in my post was not meant to be directed at you, but the ridiculous situation.

Thankfully, Colorado has intelligent people that took swift action to correct the situation, although I think some companies (Walgreens, CVS and King Soopers from what I can tell) still have not completely updated their policies (or just their website’s code) to match.

i mean this as strongly as i can say it: when will enough be enough until we forcibly act? the danger present in this statement is calculable based on all the covid deaths <74. we have the number to worry about. are you confident that one won’t be yours this time around? i’m not. i don’t want to take that fucking gamble, do you? this is being decided for us. your future life is being decided by a fascist administration. what the fuck are we doing?
