The Supreme Court already allowed politics-based gerrymandering, which was race-based by another name, so this won’t change things much more than that. But it will change what color the people are who get elected. They could change 2 majority R districts that are both mostly black into one majority white R district and one majority black R district.
Ah okay I understand now. I was trying to figure out how they were gonna get more republican seats in states that are already gerrymandered to shit. This changes WHO gets elected.
