A federal judge in Oregon on Sunday barred Donald Trump’s administration from deploying the National Guard to Portland, Oregon until at least Friday, saying she “found no credible evidence” that protests in the city grew out of control before the president federalized the troops earlier this fall.
The city and state sued in September to block the deployment. It’s the latest development in weeks of legal back-and-forth in Portland, Chicago and other U.S. cities as the Trump administration has moved to federalize and deploy the National Guard in city streets to quell protests.
The ruling from U.S. District Court Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee, followed a three-day trial in which both sides argued over whether protests at the city’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building met the conditions for using the military domestically under federal law.
That judge had better stay away from tall buildings, especially windows.
They’re blowing up their houses
This isn’t Russia, in America they’re just outright bombing the houses of dissenting judges while their children are home.
Dang, with all of these fires all over the city in Portland none of us have to pay for heat anymore. Everywhere is a BBQ joint.
PROOF Democrat cities are completely burning down. Eating their neighbors with BBQ and getting high from their ashes? What will they stoop to next?
Am I wrong, or are they not there already?? Or is that just ICE thugs?
As far as I’ve seen, just ICE thugs. But I live Portland adjacent so I could be wrong

Trump ignores court order disallowing National Guard deployment to Portland
You forgot he will also fire Judge Karin Immergut
Or entice one of his dipshit fans to light her house on fire. Which has happened to another judge who ruled against orangeboi.
That’s the problem when you source the selection of judges to the Federalist Society. Once in a while, you get one that is actually dedicated to the rule of law.
FS judges usually arnt beholden to trump as he likes, thats why mitch mcconnel handpicks some of them too.
It took three days to say people standing around in costumes isn’t enough reason to deploy the military?
