Great solution for a small part of the US population. The country is designed around car transport, it’s a dead end forced on us long ago. Few cities have (and can have) adequate mass transit that serves even a fraction of the area. I’m anti-car too, but also realize that it’s how things work for most people. So yes, fuel or transportation infrastructure is a right as long as people have to get around to survive.
